SALEM — Advanced Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center personnel celebrated their new state-of-the-art facility at 2525 E. State St. during a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday, with the doors opening to patients Monday.
Mayor John Berlin, Salem Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, chamber board members, chamber Executive Director Lori Jewell and invited guests were treated to tours of the new location for the Salem practice.
Founded by board-certified dermatologists Dr. J. Raymond Bernat Jr. and Dr. Patrick Lee Shannon, Advanced Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center has provided convenient access to expert dermatology and skin cancer care in Ohio since 2001.
The team is excited to serve patients out of the new, purpose-built facility designed to provide comprehensive dermatology services.
“I have always taken great pride in providing dermatology services, skin cancer treatment, and medical aesthetic services to this community, and our relocation to a brand new, state-of-the-art facility will only enhance the excellent care we are known for providing,” Dr. Bernat said. “I’m excited for this next chapter.”

Laurie A. Quattro, MPAS-C and Casey Dickey, PA-C will be serving patients under the expert leadership of Dr. Bernat and Dr. Shannon. Laurie joined Advanced Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center in 2004 and Casey joined the team in August of 2016.
At the Salem practice, Laurie and Casey will continue to offer medical dermatology services to treat a broad range of conditions and diseases, including skin cancer, eczema, acne, psoriasis, rashes and much more. In addition to general dermatology, Laurie offers cosmetic services, including neurotoxin injections, fillers, and more.
